Mr. Miller’s career started in 1975 with John Hancock Life Insurance Company. Recognizing the many tax, financial, cash flow and health needs of people aged 55+, he opened his independent practice on January 6th, 1992. A graduate of The American College, Ron holds the designation of: Financial Services Specialist of which there are less than 500 nationwide.

As an independent Retirement Counselor and Tax Preparer, Ron specializes in the needs of those already retired and those who will be retiring within the next ten years. High healthcare costs, not enough cash flow, taxes, inflation, proper beneficiary designations and outliving one's resources are the problems that for many are a major concern. The firm’s mission is to improve the quality of life and create peace of mind for clients' by finding solutions to these challenges.

I take an educational approach to retirement and tax planning, providing current, insightful information, so you can make an informed decision to secure your financial future. I also give back to the retired community by teaching financial and tax courses at the Rueter Center's College For Seniors located on the UNC-Asheville campus.
